Going camping for the first time can be an exciting and daunting experience. It’s important to do some research beforehand to make sure you have all of the right equipment and know what to expect. Make sure you plan out what supplies you need, such as a tent, sleeping bags, flashlights, food, and water. It’s also a good idea to talk with someone who has more camping experience than you so that they can offer helpful advice. Most importantly, remember to have fun! Enjoy exploring nature in its fullest form while creating lasting memories with friends and family.

Starting with the basics. Whether you are camping in a trailer or a tent you want the right sleeping gear. this is a comfortable and warm sleeping bag for two. The MEREZA Double Sleeping Bag for Adults sleeping bag is made with a draft tube to keep the cold air out and has adjustable drawstrings on both sides to provide a snug fit. The large, rectangular shape of the bag provides plenty of room for two people up to 7 feet tall. My favorite part is it use it as one giant sleeping bag for 2 or it can be separated into two individual sleeping bags or 2 queen size blankets thanks to the wraparound zippers Whether you're using it outdoors or indoors, the MEREZA Double Sleeping Bag will keep you warm and cozy all night long.
This little guy has been my greatest investment! He has saved a couple of trips for us. Once at a stargazing event in the desert our trailer pole surged and we lost power. Instead of having to turn around and miss the celestial event we just used our Jackery Power Station for lights, heat, cooking and recharging our phones. Another time our drive was seriously delayed by weather with two kids in the backseat. Because we had the power station we just plugged in their devices and they watched movies until the roads cleared! Even if you think you are going to just get away from it all, trust me you will wanted the added security of emergency power. Comes in multiple sizes but this little guy has been more than enough for me.
If you are planning on boondocking, I recommend the accompanying solar panels.
Everyone who joins me on an adventure is gifted one of these LED lighted beanies. Better and more convenient than a flashlight for trips to the bathroom or moving around the campground at night. The LED light inserted into the hat is easily removable and has three (3) adjustable brightness settings, so you can always have the perfect amount of light. The light hat also features 8 hours of runtime on a single charge and a standard USB port, so you can charge it just about anywhere.
One of my most used items! I naively thought all campgrounds had picnic tables. Trust me. Bring your own! The Outsunny Portable Foldable Camping Picnic Table Set is made of durable, lightweight aluminum, and it folds down to the size of a suitcase for easy transport from the campsite to the river to the beach. The table is also great for a variety of purposes beyond picnicking - it can be used for playing games, creating arts and crafts, or simply sitting and enjoying the scenery. Setup is easy - all of the pieces of this table are connected together to fold, making set up and takedown a breeze.
